Day 2 of the 24 Day Ab Challenge

It’s day 2 of the ab challenge!!!

I woke up excited that I had a challenge awaiting me today. Right now there are no results to see given that it is only day 2. I know if I continue to work my way through this challenge that it will be well worth it!

When I started to do the day 2 ab challenge earlier today I initially felt like it was easy. However, once I got to the 8 leg raises I quickly found out that it was harder than I thought it was going to be. After I finished I was like “wow that was harder than I thought it was going to be.” If you look at the image you will see that by day 24 we will be doing 58 leg raises…oy vey! You know what though? You can do this! We can do this together! It is just going to get harder and more painful, but if you can just stay positive and keep on pushing the results will be worth it! Ab challenge on Pinterest:

I had a friend who gave me this quote at work and I really love it. I took this particular image from an Instagram user @jflothecoach and wanted to give a shout out for using it. Everything we about has an effect on our body. If we are negative about it it’s going to have a negative effect on how we feel how we think, etc. If we are positive about it and encourage ourselves to keep going then it’s going to have that positive affect on our body naturally. I encourage everyone who is doing this ab challenge workout with me to stay positive. Challenge yourself to not only complete the exercise, but also in how you think about it.

Some positive things I tell myself when I feel discouraged are:

  1. It will be worth it
  2. You can do this
  3. Stay positive no matter how hard it is
  4. If other people can do it I can do it to

What are some things that you tell yourself when you start to feel discouraged? We all tend to have our negative moments, and even if we are practicing this positivity we are still going to have moments where we fall back into our old habits. Like I said before the key is to give up on yourself and catch yourself when you are being negative. The first step to pretty much any problem is becoming aware of it so you can take steps to fix it.
