Today’s Exercise Routine

Hi friends.

For those who follow me regularly know that I haven’t written in awhile. I apologize for my absence, but my mother-in-law passed away recently from Pancreatic Cancer and I have been grieving. I have been desperate for something to make me feel better, and I have decided that it would be good to start exercising and focus on my nutrition. I think it will be a good coping mechanism. I was running and more active before I moved so it’s time to get back into it!

Today was Day 2 of working out and here is what I did:

  • 15 leg lifts

  • Walk/run

    • Walk 90 seconds
    • 8 repsImage may contain: drink, coffee cup and indoor

Wow, what a workout! The first day I did this I didn’t incorporate the walking/running. I was running more frequently before I moved so I am just now starting back up and it felt really nice. I was lucky enough to do today’s workout with my sister, so I made us smoothies when we finished. I added bananas, all kinds of frozen berries, milk, and blueberry yogurt. It was delicious and just what we needed after a workout.

What does your workout routine look like? Do you have any workout suggestions or nutrition tips?
